2012 promises to be a busy year at WCPT. It began with the publication of an ambitious and exciting strategic plan taking us to 2015. Developed at a meeting of the Executive Committee (EC) late last year, the plan makes central the views and decisions of member organisations expressed at the General Meeting in June 2011. An environmental scan was conducted to consider the potential impact of wider social, economic and political factors on the global profession, population health and WCPT. Work to implement the plan is well underway with the imminent launch of WCPT’s data collection project, which will provide comparative information about the profession across countries
